Question: Why have you started People's Pride Southampton?

Answer: Capitalism is failing us once again, we see from our research that Pride events across the country are starting to charge people for what is primarily a festival to encourage the LGBT+ community to rise up and fight for their right to to be accepted. The issue with this is not only does it exclude people who are low waged, but it's become more and more un-accessible to all. We want an event that is FREE to all, accessible to all, and fights the hatred of the far right and much more besides. We will not celebrate until everyone is accepted.

Have you found a sneaky question, we have not answered? Then please feel free to contact us by clicking here or the contact tab above, we are always happy to hear from you!

Proud to be at the heart of Southampton's LGBT+ community.
